Kenneth Ryder, MD was born and raised in Delaware County, PA. He graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA with a double major in Chemistry and Russian Studies. He graduated from Penn State College of Medicine/Hershey Medical Center and then did a residency in Family Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. Since completing his residency, he has been in practice in the Lehigh Valley. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is on the Medical Staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital Health Network. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania and Lehigh County Medical Societies. He has been named to Best Doctors in America in 2005 and 2013. He has special interests in Preventive Medicine, Sports Medicine, Pediatrics and Diabetes. He cares for three and four generations of many families. In his free time he plays tennis, runs, and gardens and has been a member of The Allentown Band since 1984. | |
