Dr. Heffelfinger grew up in Northampton, less than one mile from his office. He attended Allentown Central Catholic High School and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. After graduating from Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Heffelfinger completed his residency in Family Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. He served as chief resident while he was there. Upon completion of his residency in 2001, Dr. Heffelfinger joined Dr. Benavage in their two physician practice. The practice strives to have an old fashioned feel to it. Each doctor sees their own patients and there are no other providers at the office. Dr. Heffelfinger is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and American Medical Directors Association. He has special interests in geriatrics and long-term care. He currently serves as the medical director at Bethlehem Manorcare 2021. | |
