| Christy is an Adult Nurse Practitioner since 2010 and is certified in Geriatrics from Gerontology Nursing Certification Commission. She served almost 10 years in the US Air Force as a medical technician during the Gulf War and several other operations. She has more than 30 years of nursing experience, 15 of which were in geriatrics with 13 of those years as a Nurse Practitioner. Christy has experience in cardiac, wound care, incontinence care, vascular issues, and COVID. She is available for sick visits, physical exams, Medicare annual wellness visits and lifestyle counseling, in addition to your other medical and preventive needs. Christy likes to treat everyone as an individual, focusing on you as a whole, which includes building trust, good communication, and educating you on ways to achieve your best health. Health promotion and prevention are the best medicine and the key to having the healthiest life for as long as possible. She enjoys hanging out with her husband and kids: riding bike, camping, and watching movies. She also enjoys making cards and scrapbooks and volunteering at her local church and Lehighton community when needed.
